The business of Well Excel includes an online catalogue of e-learning products, services and resources that are made available through an online platform, and includes content by partners (all of whom are referred to as ‘affiliates’ for the purpose of this policy). Where the terms “Well Excel”, “WE”, “we”, “us” and “our” are used throughout this policy, they mean Well Excel Pty Limited (ABN 23 651 946 600) of 47 Baxter Street, Fortitude Valley, Queensland, Australia, 4006 and its related bodies corporate (as that phrase is defined in s50 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), wherever they are located in the world).

This Privacy Policy has been created to express our commitment to protect information provided by users. Well Excel is aware of the current trend towards communications and distribution of information, and we have established protocols and security measures to keep your information protected from mischievous use, as far as reasonably possible.

The practices and policies described herein apply to all users of Well Excel. Each time you visit the website and use any of our services you are, by doing so, accepting the practices and policies described below. You agree that by using the products, services and website of Well Excel (together being the “website”) you are expressly and affirmatively consenting to our use of information that you have provided. Your personal information will be held by Well Excel for a period up to 30 years.

  • Service providers who assist with managing the services we provide to you including information technology, educational services, marketing, and debt recovery.

Affiliate access

  • Hosts of group and networking services may have access to the names of participants;
  • Support and implementation partners may have access to information we collect for the purpose of assisting us deliver, support and develop our services and systems.

All such third-parties are bound by laws and regulations, wherever they are located in the world, and are required adopt and apply data protection policies and practices that are consistent with this policy.

Security and integrity of personal information

Well Excel is committed to ensuring the confidentiality, security and integrity of the personal information it collects, uses and discloses.

Well Excel will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information collected is relevant to the purpose for which it is was collected, is accurate, up to date and complete.

Well Excel will store securely all records containing personal information and take all reasonable security measures to protect personal information it holds from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

Where Well Excel has no further use for personal information for any purpose disclosed, or is no longer required to maintain that personal information, all reasonable steps will be taken to destroy or de-identify the information.

Right to access and correct records

Individuals have the right to access or obtain a copy of the personal information that Well Excel holds about them. Requests to access or obtain a copy of personal information must be made in writing. There is no charge for an individual to access personal information that Well Excel holds about them; however Well Excel may charge a fee to make a copy. Individuals will be advised of how they may access or obtain a copy of their personal information and any applicable fees within 10 days of receiving their written request.

If an individual considers their personal information to be incorrect, incomplete, out of date or misleading, they can request that the information be amended. Where a record is found to be inaccurate, a correction will be made as soon as practical. Where an individual requests that a record be amended because it is inaccurate but the record is found to be accurate, the details of the request for amendment will be noted on the record. There is no charge for making a request to correct personal information.

International data transfer

As Well Excel operates internationally, personal information of users may be transferred across national and continental borders. Within Well Excel, such transfers are governed by internal controls and rules, consistent with this policy and the relevant legislation and regulation, including the GDPR.

Well Excel utilises Amazon Web Services (AWS) in its operations and to process and transfer data.

IP Addresses

Well Excel web servers collect your IP address to assist us maintain the quality of the services provided and to be able to diagnose any problems with the system. The information collected is aggregate only and cannot be associated with your private information.

Cookies and log files

We allow limited use of various technologies to collect and store information when users visit our website. This may include using cookies (i.e., a string of unique data that a website stores on a user’s computer and that the user’s browser provides to the website each time the user returns) or similar technologies to identify the user’s browser or device. This helps us optimise our users’ experience and continually improve and tailor our products and services for users.

Where an individual believes that Well Excel has breached a Privacy Principle in relation to that individual, they may lodge a complaint using Well Excel’s grievance handling procedures.
